NOTES FROM CLASS

SIMPLE I walk in the park with my dog every morning.

COMPOUND I have a dog, and we walk in the park every morning. (FANBOYS)

COMPLEX because, as soon as, when, while, before, after, until, although...

As soon as the rain stops, I'll go for a walk with my dog.

I'm going to stay at home tonight because I have no plans.



Because it's raining, I'm staying at home. (use comma)

I'm staying at home because it's raining. (no comma)


HOMEWORK: Complete exercises 4, 5 in Grammar 5-3 (optional)

                           Finish exercise with Complex sentences.

We'll have a quiz on Monday and we do some review before the quiz.
